Grace

Grace has been leading Children’s House Montessori School since 2019, bringing with her a lifelong passion for early childhood education. A graduate of Appalachian State University with a degree in Elementary Education, Grace began her career as a third-grade public school teacher. Her connection to CHMS runs deep—she was one of the first students to attend the school when it opened in 1993.

After returning to the place where her love of learning began, Grace led classrooms of both 3–6-year-olds and elementary-aged students, combining her training in traditional and Montessori methods. Her experiences in the classroom sparked a broader interest in supporting educators and families, leading her to earn a MACTE-accredited credential in Montessori Leadership and Administration in 2022.

Grace is a dedicated educator and leader who believes in nurturing the whole child and empowering future teachers. Outside of school, she enjoys live music, reading, spending time with her family and friends, and being outdoors.
